Meet the Doctor

Dr. Shosted is an established and highly skilled eye doctor. He graduated from the University of Utah in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and earned his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University in 2009.

Dr. Shosted has a special interest in eye disease management, dry eye treatment, contact lenses, LASIK and has preformed thousands of eye exams in Spanish. He has over 15 years of experience working at a LASIK center.

Dr. Shosted has served as an adjunct faculty member for Western University College of Optometry and Pacific University College of Optometry, training fourth year optometry student externs in refractive surgical care.

Dr. Shosted grew up in the southwest area of the Salt Lake Valley and enjoys serving the Herriman community. His free time is mostly spent with his four adorable children and beautiful wife. They love going on walks and traveling together. They have traveled to six continents and many destinations around the world. Some of his favorites have been Peru, Cuba, India, New Zealand and the Galapogos Islands. If you ask Dr. Shosted what he's doing on his day off it often includes working in the yard.
